I believe building a genuine connection with my couples is essential. I take the time to get to know them—their personalities, what matters to them, and how they imagine their wedding day. That trust means the moments I photograph are relaxed, honest, and true to their relationship.

AND HERE IS A BIT ABOUT ME

and what it is that I love besides creative wedding photography…

I love vivid colours
and beautiful flowers
and beaches and the sea
I love dancing (especially when no ones watching)
I love laughing
I love a good old party
I love pasta (I could eat it every day)
I love a good cup of coffee
I love short stories (with any other books I always have to read the last page first – it’s really annoying)
and listening to music pressed on beautiful vinyl

I truly value the relationships I build with my couples

Taking the time to understand their vision for the day is essential, which is why I offer pre-wedding consultations to talk through ideas and preferences. This helps us align expectations and allows me to make thoughtful, personalised suggestions around locations, approach, and style that feel true to who they are.

WHAT ELSE I LOVE

I love my poodles – my trusty sidekicks, Ziggy and Noodle
I love my family – my girls and hunky hubby
I love trees and mountains and watching clouds in the sky
I love old buildings (I live in one)
I love dog walks by the sea
I love adventuring
and picnics in the park
and cooking in my kitchen
I love people in love
I love photographing them
If you love any of the above,
I think we’d get on just fine.

MY WORK HAS BEEN FEATURED ON…

Being featured on wedding blogs is always an honour and a lovely way to share my work with a wider audience. These features celebrate real weddings and genuine moments, and I’m always grateful to see the stories I photograph recognised and shared within the wedding community.

IF YOU’RE WONDERING HOW THIS ALL BEGAN…—

I grew up in a small village in southern Germany. After school, I took a gap year and moved to London to figure out my next steps. Art had always been a passion, but drawing and painting never felt like the right fit. When my dad gave me a camera, photography instantly felt like home.

I went on living and working as an assistant for advertising photographers in London and then moved to Brighton to study editorial photography.

I never imagined I’d become a wedding photographer.

I never imagined I’d become a wedding photographer. The first wedding I photographed was for a friend, shot on black and white film, and I was immediately drawn to the pace of it—the need to react instinctively and create something meaningful from whatever the day unfolded. What I love most is that every wedding is a story, and I get to tell it honestly through photographs.

I moved from Brighton to Glasgow in 2005 and started my business in 2008, which means I now have 17 years of experience photographing weddings. And, believe it or not, I still genuinely love what I do and feel incredibly lucky to work with such wonderful people every year. Creative wedding photography has become not just a career for me, but a lifelong passion that I cherish deeply.
