GAIL + DAVID
Getting asked to photograph the wedding of two very talented photographers/videographers is in equal amounts totally humbling and extremely terrifying. Gail aka Rooftop Mosaic and David aka Walnut Wasp tied the knot at Drygate Brewery on 5th July. They organised their wedding in 6 short weeks and it couldn’t have been a more wonderful and ‘true to them’ celebration. They got ready together, did a first look on Glasgow’s Merchant House rooftop, shared a coke in their favourite Mechant city cafe, the Wilson Street Pantry before taking a cab to Drygate to meet their guests, get married and dance the night away (make everyone dance by playing in the wedding band) – yup, pretty much the best day ever and an absolute joy to photograph (thank you weather gods once again). But as always (and really because my brain is mush and wedding season is getting the better of me) I shall let the pictures do the talking now. But very importantly I need to do a big shout out to the fantastic team involved in this wedding-o-rama: Pete Cotter (my 2nd shooter), Macdonald studio (video), Laura Gray (hair and make up), Betty Bluebell (flowers), Rowan Joy (that amazing blue skirt), Ross Wright (wonderful celebrant), Big Bear bakery (those cakes!!!!), Nick Bruce and his Blinding Lights (da band – omg! book that band people!), Daisy Bisley (chalkboards) and the Neatly Wrapped Aromatics co (candle favours). Big congrats Gail and David, thanks for having me x
